The District 62 Digital Learning and Technology Services team collaborates with staff and community to acquire, support, and sustain innovative digital tools for student learning and district operations. In addition to supporting over 6000 devices, the team maintains district internet, server and technology infrastructures. Instructional support team provides direction and coordination that is in line with Strategic Plan Goals for future ready pedagogies and initiatives. The District 62 Digital Learning and Technology staff frequently earns recognitions and awards as individuals and as a team, including the ISBE Those Who Excel Excellence and Merit Awards, and INSPRA Excellenace and Merit Awards..

The district 62 techonology goals are on schedule to provide each student with an iPAD throughout its K-8 programs by 2022. District 62 is fortunate to be in a position to provide and maintain a variety of education technologies. Today, the district has over 2,700 iPad devices in use and a majority of them will be upgraded to support learning.

In addition to creating and maintaining the infrastructure to support all district departments, schools, staff and students, the Digital Learning and Technology Services also maintains innovative initiatives to push forward Future Ready Learning and 21st century skills as outlined in School Board Goal 1. These initiatives are led by our Innovation Advocates and Technology Specialists in partnership with Instructional Services and Student Services.
